Sumario:The study establishes a metric panel of information on the topic of Mental Health, using the Base of periodical publications in the BRAPCI Publication Collection – a Reference Database of Periodical Articles in Information Science; and, the diagnosis covers the period from 2012 to 2022. The methodology has a descriptive and bibliometric character, allowing the identification of 60 articles related to the topic of Mental Health, distributed in 24 scientific journals. The results reveal that this topic is very incipient in the scientific literature of Information Science. However, its relevance can be seen when it touches on interdisciplinary constructs, such as sustainability, health ethics, social responsibility and art education activities. It is concluded that, given the statistical and panoramic view of publications on Mental Health in the context of communication and information, there is a list of knowledge, skills and attitudes to humanize practice and professional ethics in informational spaces such as archives, museums, libraries and galleries of arts aimed at promoting health around documentary, educational and informational heritage.
