Description
Summary:In Mexico, the standardization of educational plans, programs and content has been a challenge that in 1959 achieved a certain homogenization with the creation of the National Commission for Free Textbooks, that established a starting point for the contents that students and teachers would address. Since then, before and now, in addition to teaching language and mathematics, health has been present as a capital point of interest in the different educational projects. This work presents the hegemonic discourse of health that from a biological, physiological, medical and prophylactic perspective has been included in primary education plans, programs and textbooks in Mexico for more than sixty years.
