| Summary: | The purpose of this research is to understand the territoriality of the fishing quilombolas in the North of Minas Gerais. The methodology chosen to be applied in this research was the incursion into the flows of the research places, in the sociodynamics of artisanal fishing and food cultivation in the ebb tides of the São Francisco River. The research takes place in the intercession of the negotiation of the lives of community members in conflict with agribusiness in the legal spaces of the State. The results indicate the need to regularize territories; therefore, it is proposed the possibility of safeguarding such communities and their peculiar way of life built on the landscape interaction of dry (land) and wet (water). |
