The inconsistency of heterodox management in social groups devoid of identity ties was evident, which contrasts with what is observed in traditional families, as a rule, receptive to progressive models of development. |

Este estudo apresenta propostas para a solução de conflitos em assentamentos rurais, a partir de teorias aplicadas ao desenvolvimento local. Foi adotado método dedutivo de investigação, com dados provenientes de levantamentos bibliográficos e experiência de campo. Os assentamentos rurais bem-sucedidos revelam alinhamento do modelo de gestão com os tipos sociais assistidos. Para os projetos com indivíduos não locais, são apresentados preceitos conservadores no combate à sobre-exploração de recursos, enquanto as perdas por subutilização podem ser contidas com a clarificação dos direitos de propriedade. Nas comunidades locais, são observados os princípios da boa governança, com destaque para a inclusão de externalidades na mediação de conflitos. Ficou evidente a inconsistência de gestão heterodoxa nos grupos sociais desprovidos de laços identitários, o que contrasta com o observado nas famílias tradicionais, via de regra, receptivas a modelos progressistas de desenvolvimento.
