| Summary: | The paper argues that Nicos Poulantzas has proposed a theoretical correspondence between change in the stage of capitalism, state form, and hegemony in the power bloc that does not require the existence of a unique hegemonic fraction. After suggesting a rereading of the concept of hegemony in the power bloc that diverges from the common reading in Brazil, the paper proposes to combine the concept of capitalist stage with the concept of model of capitalism to avoid teleological readings, and advances the concepts of conjuncture favoring and hegemonic condominium. |
