| Summary: | With the emergence of climate change and the countless socio-environmental problems that have been affecting all existences, human and non-human, that cohabit the planet (Haraway, 2021), many countries have mobilized their agendas around the search for an energy transition, with renewable sources such as hydro, solar and wind energy, which can contribute to reducing carbon emissions and greenhouse gases. Bearing the label of clean energies, one of the great contradictions that permeates this context refers to the dirty ways in which these large enterprises are implemented in traditional territories and communities, occupying large tracts with their wind and solar power plants and transmission lines, which disrespect the ways of life that exist there. |
