| Summary: | In 2021, we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Rosa Luxemburg’s birth. Despite the long time since the publication of her texts, Rosa remains influencing generations, constituting a vibrant force to philosophy and political theory. This article deals with Rosa’s legacy to the contemporary political theory, with an emphasis on five of her contributions: (1) the evaluation of the meaning of reformism; (2) the role of the periphery in the international system; (3) Marxist feminism; (4) the non-determinism of history and the dialectic between agency and structure; (5) and the interconnection between democracy, socialism and freedom. |
