| Summary: | The aim of this article is to describe the images of the Russian Revolution made by the Communist International (IC, Comintern) from 1919 to 1921. It was sought to discover how Vladimir Lenin and other Bolshevik leaders articulated the construction of Soviet power with the European revolutionary wave. The main sources of research were Lenin’s writings concerning the international movement and administration of socialist Russia, the stenographic records and other documents of the World Congresses of the IC, and the historiography on Soviet and international communism. |
