A articulação do nível macro-histórico com as transformações microscópicas que denotam uma crise estrutural do capitalismo é uma tarefa árdua. Exige, por um lado, um amplo portfólio de proposições e conceitos, conjugados em um determinado corpo teórico, e, por outro, um extenso trabalho de levantamento de dados, informações e evidências empíricas, amparado por um modelo de interpretação histórica.
