Description
Summary:This article is intended to discuss the contribution of Althusser to analyze the political situation from his famous text Contradiction and overdetermination, in which he defines the plurality of contradictions, and their displacements and fusions provide explosive moments (revolutionary) that can not be explained by the monistic perspective, i.e., the economic reductionism, either due to a single contradiction (production relations and productive forces). This work shows the decisive influence of the theoretical thought of Mao Zedong, to the constitution of this important concept for the analysis of political trends.
