Sou o prefaciador da obra em questão, além de ter sido o orientador da tese de doutorado que se encontra na origem desse livro. Pelas regras acadêmicas – cuja conveniência não deve de resto ser contestada de modo apressado e irrefletido –, não seria de bom tom lançar-me em considerações públicas sobre um trabalho realizado sob minha direção. Ocorre entretanto que Crítica Marxista não é uma revista acadêmica. Assim sendo, sinto-me à vontade para abordar aqui algumas questões teoricamente relevantes levantadas por Perissinotto. O comentário que se segue não preenche a função literária da resenha: não apresento um resumo do livro, nem enumero as qualidades do autor. Mas espero que minha incursão no campo de problemas instaurado pela análise de Perissinotto indique indiretamente a alta relevância científica do seu trabalho de investigação.
