| Summary: | Dulce Carneiro was a brazilian photographer who began her career domestically and became a professional in the 1950s. She began to develop her photographs in advertising, architecture and portraits. At the end of the 90s, Dulce said goodbye to photography and the city of São Paulo. More than that, she destroyed the entire collection of her photographic work and never took photographs again. Without the desire to recover her work and respecting her active and radical action, this article intends to recognize her trajectory without forgetting her most political and noisy act, the destruction of her work as a discourse of valorization/forgetting. |
