For this reason, the chapters have different interpretations and positions in relation to the different works and phases of Poulantzas' intellectual trajectory, although they converge in terms of the current nature of his thought. |

A atualidade da teoria política de Nicos Poulantzas, livro organizado por Tatiana Berringer e Angela Lazagna, apresenta o estado da arte das pesquisas teóricas poulantzianas realizadas no Brasil e na América Latina na última década, com exceção do capítulo de Bob Jessop, autor inglês que contribui com texto inédito traduzido para o português. Em sua maioria, os capítulos resultam de comunicações apresentadas em eventos dedicados à discussão do autor greco-francês, de modo que puderam ser revisadas e enriquecidas após os processos de debates. De acordo com as organizadoras, não se trata apenas de um livro de difusão teórica, mas de crítica positiva, que busca retificar e desenvolver os conceitos deste autor. Por esse motivo, os capítulos possuem interpretações e posicionamentos distintos em relação às diferentes obras e fases da trajetória intelectual de Poulantzas, embora convirjam quanto à atualidade de seu pensamento.
