Description
Summary:Martin Heidegger and Fernando Lanhas. The Black Forest and the Penedo da Serra de Valongo. Based on Heidegger's phenomenological thinking related to poetic making and the concept of dwelling, which in turn presupposes a glimpse of the essence of being in contact with the world through poetic making, this essay focuses on the work of the portuguese artist Fernando Lanhas, who establishes his research in an essential dialogue between his body and the natural materials of the world, that which surrounds him. Common to both of them is the need to understand themselves in an essential sense through poetry, but also the fact that they have sought out places in nature to do so.
