description Martin Heidegger and Fernando Lanhas. The Black Forest and the Penedo da Serra de Valongo. Based on Heidegger's phenomenological thinking related to poetic making and the concept of dwelling, which in turn presupposes a glimpse of the essence of being in contact with the world through poetic making, this essay focuses on the work of the portuguese artist Fernando Lanhas, who establishes his research in an essential dialogue between his body and the natural materials of the world, that which surrounds him. Common to both of them is the need to understand themselves in an essential sense through poetry, but also the fact that they have sought out places in nature to do so.

Universidade Estadual de Campinas 2024-12-10 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Text Text Texto application/pdf https://econtents.sbu.unicamp.br/inpec/index.php/visuais/article/view/20121 10.20396/visuais.v10i2.20121 Revista Visuais; Vol. 10 No. 2 (2024): Visual arts, thoughts and sounds; 212 - 234 Revista Visuais; Vol. 10 Núm. 2 (2024): Artes visuales, pensamientos y sonoridades; 212 - 234 Revista Visuais; v. 10 n. 2 (2024): Artes visuais, pensamentos e sonoridades; 212 - 234 2447-1313 por https://econtents.sbu.unicamp.br/inpec/index.php/visuais/article/view/20121/14499 Portugal; 21st Century Portugal; Siglo XXI Portugal; Século XXI Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Visuais https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0
