Se visitan algunos de los lugares de la topografía excursiva de su iconografía, seleccionando ejemplos como el Puente, la Torre, el Muro, la Casa, el Paraíso, y el Libro, procurando enfatizar ciertos temas de exploración plástica. La conclusión revela una actitud proposicional ética y plástica que articula toda su expresión visual, conectando sólidamente las referencias más dispersas. Apresenta-se uma leitura crítica sobre “Mundo Novo” a exposição de pintura de Ilídio Salteiro no Salão da SNBA, em Lisboa, Portugal, no começo de 2024. Relaciona-se a proposta com algumas regularidades poéticas (o pântano, a casa, a ponte, a ilha, o muro) e plásticas (a pintura a óleo, as camadas de tinta, a organização em dípticos ou em séries).
