| Summary: | Introduction: The 2024 Cultural Festival was a decisiveevent for strengthening community ties and enhancingparticipants' professional and personal experiences. With adiverse program that included art exhibitions, culturalpresentations and musical shows, the festival highlightedthe talent and creativity of the community. Methodology:The methodology adopted involved activities such ascapoeira, choir and drumming performances, as well as arelevant lecture on the non-medical use of cannabis,promoting meaningful discussions about health in anacademic environment. The event was carefully plannedover eight months, with an effective execution that kept thepublic engaged. The budget of R$18,759.65 was managedefficiently, benefiting from partnerships and voluntarycontributions. In addition, the festival had a positive socialimpact, collecting personal hygiene items for charitableorganizations, and created an atmosphere of integration andcollaboration that contributed to a more motivatedacademic climate. Results: The results were remarkable,with a 32 per cent increase in the number of participantscompared to the previous edition and a strong presencefrom the community. The new ‘Reflecting is also Culture’framework and the continuity of projects such as the‘Travelling in Reading Project’ highlight the success of theevent and the importance of continued investment in thedevelopment of local initiatives. Conclusion: In short, thefestival not only celebrated achievements, but also laid asolid foundation for future collaborations and mutualgrowth. |
