Description
Summary:Based on the work Semeando sereias (1987-1998), by brazilian artist Tunga, this article proposes a visual approach based on the idea of the survival of images, anchored in art historians such as Aby Warburg and Georges Didi-Huberman. A work of art can house memories, stories, permanences and other artistic productions. In this sense, reflecting on the emergence of similar images with forms, models and gestures that have survived and are connected is also a dialogue with human cultural practices – a space for the production of subjectivities, imaginaries and meanings.
