| Summary: | The general objective of this text is to promote a bibliographical discussion on school collections and museums. This discussion considers the social site of research production (Certeau, 1982) to emphasize that the interdependencies of individuals form social figurations (Elias, 1994a). The results indicate that the authors who developed the selected studies have social sites of production, such as research groups and museums. Thus, through their interrelationships with other subjects, in a context of practices directed at collections and museums, they form academic figurations that result in research on specific school collections or on museums and their individuals. |
