| Summary: | This article examines the participation of women artists in the Capela do Cristo Operário in São Paulo. Built in 1950 by the Dominicans in the Alto do Ipiranga neighborhood and restored in 2023, the chapel houses works by Yolanda Mohalyi, Elisabeth Nobiling, Moussia Pinto Alves, and Giuliana Segre Giorgi, whose careers and productions remain little studied. The presence of these artists reveals previously overlooked dimensions of the building’s history. In light of these gaps, the article aims to discuss their work, highlighting its significance both in the creation of the chapel’s artistic and architectural project and in their contributions to the artistic scene of the period. |
