In this scene, there are Physical Education teachers who participate in the educational programs by developing pedagogical actions based on the game. Therefore, this report, which is both qualitative and descriptive, aims to introduce the teachers’ (sport pedagogues) role and the actions developed by them in the education system of DEdIC and in other programs of UNICAMP. The report presents the pedagogical practices promoted in Preschool and Nonformal Education, as well as the development of actions in the field of professional qualification, such as lectures and conferences. Hence, it is intended to contribute to the researches on Physical Education, in the academic context, to enlarge the debate about the leadership of children, teenagers, adults and elderly in the learning process, and to enable the reflection about the role the game has as both cultural knowledge and a mediator of pedagogical actions. |

A Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), por meio da sua política institucional, oferece aos dependentes de trabalhadores e estudantes da universidade o acesso à Educação Infantil e à Educação Não Formal. Nesse cenário encontram-se os professores de Educação Física, os quais atendem os programas educativos por meio de ações pedagógicas fundamentadas no jogo. Dessa maneira, o objetivo do presente relato, de natureza qualitativa e descritiva, é apresentar o papel e as ações desenvolvidas pelos professores de educação física (pedagogos do esporte) no sistema educativo DEdIC e em outros programas da UNICAMP. O relato apresentou as práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas na Educação Infantil e na Educação Não Formal, bem como o desenvolvimento de ações no campo da formação profissional, como palestras e congressos. Posto isso, pretendeu-se contribuir com as pesquisas sobre a Educação Física no contexto acadêmico, ampliar o debate sobre o protagonismo das crianças, dos adolescentes, dos adultos e dos idosos nos processos de aprendizagem e possibilitar a reflexão sobre o papel do jogo como conhecimento cultural e como mediador das ações pedagógicas.
