| description | In September 2014, Unicamp has partnered with Coursera to providing extension courses in mode MOOC - Massive Open Online Courses, English Massive Open Online Courses. The courses are produced by Unicamp in Portuguese and made available through Coursera platform. The partnership was established through the Dean of Extension and Community Affairs - PREAC and courses are formalized by Extecamp in broadcast mode. The content of MOOCs, produced by professors from Unicamp, is totally open and free to any person registered as a student on the platform. The student pays a fee, which varies from 29 to 49 dollars, only if you wish to receive a certificate after completing the course. So far, four were available loose courses, and a multiple of 4 subjects. These courses are in different areas such as Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Arts, Languages and Information Technology. In addition to fulfilling an important role to society, bringing free knowledge to more than 32,000 students enrolled, the MOOCs provide great national and international visibility to Unicamp and its faculty, it has been accessed by more than 67,000 visitors from all continents the planet (data 07/01/2016). Encouraged by the impact of MOOCs University, has increased the interest of many teachers for extension of distance learning courses in general. To foster the development and offeringnew MOOCs, is being prepared a tender for selection of these projects, seeking to maintain high levels of quality, efficiency and interest of students worldwide. |

Em setembro de 2014, a Unicamp firmou parceria com o Coursera para disponibilização de cursos de extensão na modalidade MOOC – Cursos Abertos Massivos Online, do inglês Massive Open Online Courses. Os cursos são produzidos pela Unicamp em português e disponibilizados por meio da plataforma Coursera. A parceria foi firmada por intermédio da Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Assuntos Comunitários – PREAC e os cursos são formalizados pela Extecamp, na modalidade Difusão. O conteúdo dos MOOCs, produzido por professores da Unicamp, é totalmente aberto e gratuito para qualquer pessoa cadastrada como aluno na plataforma. O aluno paga uma taxa, que varia de 29 a 49 dólares, apenas se desejar receber um certificado após a conclusão do curso. Até o momento, foram disponibilizados quatro cursos avulsos e um múltiplo, com 4 disciplinas. Esses cursos são em diferentes áreas, tais como Engenharia, Empreendedorismo, Artes, Línguas e Informática. Além de cumprir um importante papel para com a sociedade, levando conhecimento gratuito para mais de 32.000 alunos inscritos, os MOOCs proporcionam grande visibilidade nacional e internacional para a Unicamp e para seu corpo docente, tendo sido acessados por mais de 67.000 visitantes de todos os continentes do planeta (dados de 01/07/2016). Estimulados pela repercussão dos MOOCs na Universidade, vem aumentando o interesse de muitos docentes por cursos de extensão a distância em geral. Para fomentar o desenvolvimento e oferecimento de novos MOOCs, está sendo preparado um edital para seleção desses projetos, buscando manter níveis elevados de qualidade, eficiência e interesse dos alunos em âmbito mundial.
