This work's goal is to develop a first-aid guidebook, which contributes to train children in the initial service on urgencies and emergencies. A first-aid guidebook was developed in printed and electronic version, with urgency and emergency content, in a playful language, easy to be understood by children. The guidebook was prepared with the main emergency situations, using as reference a guidebook called Prevenção de Acidentes na Infância [Accident Prevention in Childhood], developed by DEdIC in 2003. The same characters from the same story was used, as well as the graphic project, with change of scenarios and oriented to situations requiring first aid. After text and scenario definition, a graphic designer makes the art and final format in printed and digital version. It is expected to extend and promote the need of training and education in emergency at school, for children, with this guidebook being part of a study that will improve training instruments and techniques in emergencies for children. It is extremely important the vast training of children and teenagers at schools about the approach of basic first-aid notions. |

As situações de urgência e emergências podem ocorrer em qualquer local fora do ambiente hospitalar e necessita que os primeiros socorros sejam precocemente instituídos. O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver uma cartilha de primeiros socorros que contribua para os treinamentos de crianças no atendimento inicial às urgências e emergências. Foi desenvolvida uma cartilha em primeiros socorros em versão impressa e eletrônica com conteúdo de urgências e emergências em uma linguagem lúdica e de fácil entendimento para crianças. A cartilha foi elaborada com as principais situações de emergência e teve como referencia uma cartilha denominada Prevenção de Acidentes na Infância desenvolvida pela DEdIC em 2003. Utilizou os mesmos personagens da história inicial e manteve o projeto gráfico, com alteração dos cenários e direcionado para situações que exijam os primeiros socorros. Após definição dos textos e cenários um designer gráfico fez a arte e formatação final em versão impressa e digital. Espera-se ampliar e divulgar a necessidade de treinamento e capacitação em emergências nas escolas para crianças, sendo essa cartilha parte de um estudo que irá aprimorar os instrumentos e técnicas de treinamento em emergências para crianças. Faz-se de extrema importância a ampla capacitação de crianças e adolescentes, nas escolas quanto à abordagem das noções básicas de primeiros socorros.
