Description
Summary:Currently, with the increase of global competitiveness, the Industry has been facing a new reality, in which is essential to apply modernization and automation on the manufacturing processes, aiming quality and low cost. With this need, the teaching institutions aim to create simplified systems that can develop technologies and methodologies for management and optimization of the industrial processes. The Industrial Platform for Research, Teaching and Education in Automation (PIPEFA) has the purpose of representing real conditions and characteristics of automated manufacturing systems, being presented in an environment aimed by teaching and understading of Automation and Industrial System Control. This work&";s purpose is the automation of PIPEFA&";s part transference system, using the Ladder programming, supervisory system and graph methodology of command, step and transition (GRAFCET), that is, integrate main assembly station, the side assembly station and the transference system, and implement the supervisory that corresponds to PIPEFA, presenting the memory variables to be integrated to the complete system, performing the interface between the programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
