From this approach, Unicamp's Library System Coordination constituted, in June 2014, a Work Group called Freshmen Reception and Training GT, with the purpose of, among other goals, develop a reception program to entrants. After studies, mechanisms that enabled the entrant students to recognize, in the first contacts with the University, the library importance in the academic life were established, in addition to welcome them and inform them about products and services available. This action enabled to meet actual and potential users, communicating information about Unicamp's Library System, carrying out the marketing for services and products offered, breaking paradigms regarding the image built on static and passive libraries.
