| description | The speed on information production in the last decades makes customized and primary adaptations necessary to meet the community needs, in which the University Libraries are inserted, being necessary to extrapolate the physical barriers, meeting the user, in order to present them a dynamic and alive library, which promotes the reflexive, critical development, offering tools to help on solving problems. From this approach, Unicamp's Library System Coordination constituted, in June 2014, a Work Group called Freshmen Reception and Training GT, with the purpose of, among other goals, develop a reception program to entrants. After studies, mechanisms that enabled the entrant students to recognize, in the first contacts with the University, the library importance in the academic life were established, in addition to welcome them and inform them about products and services available. This action enabled to meet actual and potential users, communicating information about Unicamp's Library System, carrying out the marketing for services and products offered, breaking paradigms regarding the image built on static and passive libraries. |

A rapidez na produção de informações nas últimas décadas faz com que sejam necessárias adaptações primordiais e personalizadas para atender as necessidades da comunidade a qual as Bibliotecas Universitárias estão inseridas, sendo necessário extrapolar as barreiras físicas, indo ao encontro do usuário, a fim de apresentar a ele uma biblioteca viva e dinâmica, que fomente o desenvolvimento crítico reflexivo, oferecendo ferramentas que auxiliem na solução de problemas. A partir dessa abordagem, a Coordenação do Sistema de Bibliotecas da Unicamp constituiu, em junho de 2014, um Grupo de Trabalho denominado GT de Capacitação e Recepção aos Calouros com a finalidade de, dentre outros objetivos, desenvolver um programa de recepção aos ingressantes. Após estudos, foram estabelecidos mecanismos que possibilitassem aos alunos ingressantes reconhecer, nos primeiros contatos com a Universidade, a importância da biblioteca na vida universitária, além de acolhê-los e informá-los sobre produtos e serviços disponíveis. Essa ação possibilitou ir ao encontro dos usuários reais e potenciais, transmitindo informações sobre o Sistema de Bibliotecas da Unicamp, realizando o marketing dos serviços e produtos oferecidos e quebrando paradigmas quanto à imagem construída de bibliotecas estáticas e passivas.study.
