Summary:The proposed event, initially called Library Science, Education and Scientific Promotion (BEDiC) will provide the exchange of information between education, information professionals and science promoters, who intend, through technology, to mobilize their competences to promote the society wellness. The event organization appreciates the establishment of partnership between the Advanced Journalistm Studies Laboratory (LABJOR), New Education Technologies Laboratory (LANTEC) and the Electronic Scientific Journals Webiste (PPEC), linked to UNICAMP's Library System (SBU). For 2016, the initial theme will be about the "Information and Education Competence on the Digital Society Context", through themed tables, workshops and seminars, which will encompass subjects such as distance learning, digital pedagogic projects, digital library construction, repositories, journal and scientific promotion websites, involved by the information competence subject itself. The expectation is to discuss issues related to the ability of searching, using, and interpreting information, as well as its impaccts on the individual education process. Moreover, the intention is to disseminate ongoing proposals and projects with possibility of dialogs between the Education, Information Science and Scientific Promotion fields, mainly regarding the subjects of sharing echnical accessibility solutions to the electronic information sources and virtual services, in addition to establishing debates between researchers and specialists on the issue. It also aims to disseminate the digital technology adoption, discussing national and international trends and solutions, related to electronic documents' production and recovery, as well as to identify, describe and analyze the information competences on the current context.
