| description | This work's purpose is to present the management tool of abstracts published on the event SIMTEC - UNICAMP's Employees Symposium, using the software Open Journal System / Electronic Journal Publishing System (OJS/SEER), in a journal format called Syntheses: SIMTEC's Electronic Journal. The idea arose in 2008, but the implementation only occurs now, after various storage formats have been presented. The OJS/SEER was chosen. It was decided to keep the abstracts filed in this software for various reasons. The first one is that the software ensures and preserves all system, metadata and PDF files in a digital way, through Rede Cariniana / LOCKSS, to which UNICAMP is integrated; the second one is that it enables the Digital Object Identifier (DOI)'s attribution through the plugin setting, installed in the system itself, keeping the persistent access link to the abstracts always in the same URL; finally, because it constitutes a small database on SIMTEC, enabling the access to information. Thus, this initiative aims to guarantee and recover all issues already published on SIMTEC in a same, globally recognized environment, with easy access by the society and university community, since it has a free access. |

Esse trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar a ferramenta de gerenciamento dos resumos publicados no evento SIMTEC - Simpósio dos Profissionais de UNICAMP, utilizando o software Open Journal System / Sistema Eletrônico de Editoração de Revistas (OJS/SEER), no formato de um periódico intitulado Sínteses: Revista Eletrônica do SIMTEC. A ideia surgiu em 2008, mas a implementação acontece somente agora, após ser apresentado vários formatos de armazenamento, e escolhido o OJS/SEER. Decidiu-se optar por manter arquivados os resumos nesse software por várias razões. Sendo que a primeira é que o software garanta e preserva digitalmente todo o sistema, metadados e arquivos em PDF por meio da Rede Cariniana / LOCKSS, a qual a UNICAMP está integrada; a segunda é que possibilita a atribuição do Digital Object Identifier (DOI) por meio da configuração de plug-in instalado no próprio sistema, mantendo o link persistente de acesso aos resumos sempre na mesma URL; e por última por constituir uma pequena base de dados sobre o SIMTEC facilitando o acesso às informações. Assim, essa iniciativa visa garantir e recuperar as informações de todas as edições já publicadas no SIMTEC num mesmo ambiente reconhecido mundialmente e de fácil acesso a sociedade e a comunidade universitária, por ser de livre acesso e gratuito.
