This care line involves approaches that aim to stimulate the natural mechanisms to prevent worsening and health recovery, with emphasis on the welcoming listening and on the therapeutical bond development. Among the practices, Herbal Medicine is a therapy characterized by the use of medicinal plants in their different pharmaceutical forms, without the use of active isolated substances. At Campinas' municipal network, the herbal medicine treatment has revealed an expanding practice, the bandages are made with the manipulated medicines, applied and prescried by the Nurse. Since 2010, the CECOM has implemented the Wound Service Program with the same protocol used by Campinas' municipal network. PURPOSE: Present the integral view results to the patient bearing wounds at CECOM. Methodology: Descriptive study, quantitative type, using a sample of 194 cases that were assisted by CECOM's wound ambulatory, in the period fom January/2011 to December/2012. Results: In two years, since the implementation of the Stomach Therapeutic Nurse Consultation, there was an increase on the consultation number, on the cure rate with decrease on the treatment type of severe injuries and chronic injuies, and finally, the increase on the ahestion to treatment. Conclusion: The use of PIC with herbal medicines brought patients to the service and its holistic service strategy provided the adherence to treatment. |

Considerando o indivíduo na sua dimensão global, quando na situação de seu processo de adoecer a Prática Integral e Complementar - PIC corrobora para a integralidade da atenção à saúde. Essa linha de cuidado envolve abordagens que buscam estimular os mecanismos naturais de prevenção de agravos e recuperação da saúde, com ênfase na escuta acolhedora e no desenvolvimento do vínculo terapêutico. Dentre as práticas, a Fitoterapia e´ uma terapêutica caracterizada pelo uso de plantas medicinais em suas diferentes formas farmacêuticas, sem a utilização de substâncias ativas isoladas. Na rede municipal de Campinas o tratamento fitoterápico tem se revelado uma prática em expansão, os curativos são feitos com os medicamentos manipulados, aplicados e prescritos pelo Enfermeiro. Desde 2010, o CECOM tem implantado o Programa de Atendimento a Feridas com o mesmo protocolo utilizado pela rede municipal de Campinas. O objetivo do trabalho é apresentar os resultados do olhar integral aos pacientes portadores de feridas do CECOM. Estudo descritivo, do tipo quantitativo, utilizando uma amostra de 194 casos que foram assistidos pelo ambulatório de feridas do CECOM, no período de janeiro/2011 a dezembro/ 2012. Em dois anos, desde a implantação do serviço de Consulta com Enfermeiro Estomaterapeuta, houve aumento do número de consultas, da taxa de cura com diminuição do tempo de tratamento das lesões agudas e das lesões crônicas, e por fim o aumento de adesão ao tratamento. O uso da PIC com fitoterápicos aproximou pacientes ao serviço e sua estratégia holística de atendimento proporcionou a aderência ao tratamento.
