Description
Summary:With the purpose of studying and developing preventive action for the use of psychoactive substances at Unicamp, the VIVA MAIS [Live More] Program was created in 2003. High prevalence rates in the consumption between university students showed that the program should approach the legal and illegal drug issue extensively. Due to the importance of greater participation by the whole University on VIVA MAIS Program guidances and activities, it was decided to carry out a strategic planning. Three workshops were carried out, which gathered representatives from various sectors, who are part of Unicamp's administrative and academic areas. Viva Mais Program's strategic map preparation from 2014 to 2016. Such strategy mainly includes: propose, implement and follow up actions related to the use of psychoactive substances; creation of work core with the purpose of operationalizing actions and ensuring the Program permanence and effectiveness; valuation of the Program's evaluative culture, with the frequent analysis of positive and negative points. In view of the strategic planning and the Work Core action, we observed changes in the nature of campaings that have been made until that time, in addition to greater interest and commitment by the professionals involved in the work. With this, the path for the Viva Mais Program to become widely known and seen as a reference on integrated and effective policy proposition, related to the use of psychoactive substances, was initiated.
