| description | Monitoring closely this discussion regarding safety at Unicamp campus, the Cultural Development Coordination (CDC) proposed the project "Conexão Cultural" [Cultural Connection] to the Rectory, which, once approved, was incorporated to the program "Campus Tranquilo, Universidade Viva" [Calm Campus, Live University] by Unicamp, on the axis called "Convívio" [Interaction]. The "Conexão Cultural" was established, aiming the occupation of external spaces at the University campi with cultural and sport events, promoting people movement and permanence, and as a consequence, the interaction, enabling to increase the sense of safety, both due to attendance and to the fact that when people meet, they can learn more about each other, especially those who are part of the university community. The work strategy is to promote the University's cultural production - in arts and in sports -, to be performed through presentations open to the general community. The participation of students, employees and professors, in producing or performing the event, is essentially important. A promotion line to the cultural production by other University units and entities was also established, aiming to provide support to cultural manifestations performed by them (in infrastructure, logistics and promotion), as long as they are preferentially held in open campi spaces, therefore, in accordance with the project goals. |

Acompanhando de perto essa discussão a respeito da segurança nos câmpus da Unicamp, a Coordenadoria de Desenvolvimento Cultural (CDC), propôs à Reitoria o projeto “Conexão Cultural” que, aprovado, foi incorporado ao programa “Campus Tranquilo, Universidade Viva” da Unicamp, no eixo denominado “Convívio”. O “Conexão Cultural” foi estabelecido, visando à ocupação dos espaços externos dos campi da Universidade com eventos culturais e esportivos, promovendo a circulação e a permanência das pessoas e, consequentemente, o convívio, permitindo ampliar a sensação de segurança, tanto pela própria frequência, como pelo fato de que as pessoas, ao se encontrarem, poderem conhecer-se umas às outras, especialmente aquelas que fazem parte da comunidade universitária. A estratégia de trabalho é a de fomentar a produção cultural – em artes e em esportes – da Universidade, para que se realize por meio de apresentações abertas à comunidade em geral. A participação de alunos, funcionários e docentes, na produção ou na realização do evento, é de fundamental importância. Também foi estabelecida uma linha de fomento à produção cultural de outras unidades e órgãos da Universidade, visando prestar apoio às manifestações culturais realizadas por eles (em infraestrutura, logística e divulgação), desde que realizadas preferencialmente em espaços abertos dos campi; portanto, em consonância com os objetivos do projeto.
