Risk of nephopathy induced by contrast in patients subject to diagnosis heart cathetherization
The nephropathy induced by contrast consists of the acute decrease of the kidney function, expressed by a relative increase of serum creatinine of 25% or an absolute increase of 0.5 mg/dl from 48 to 72 hours after the contrast administration, in the absence of other causes. This work's purpose...

| Summary: | The nephropathy induced by contrast consists of the acute decrease of the kidney function, expressed by a relative increase of serum creatinine of 25% or an absolute increase of 0.5 mg/dl from 48 to 72 hours after the contrast administration, in the absence of other causes. This work's purpose is to build a data collection instrument for consultation by nursing and risk assessment for nephropathy induced by contrast. It is a descriptive study carried out by literature review and peer discussion on the risk factors for nephropathy in patients subject to diagnosis heart cathetherization. The search was performed by descriptors nephropathy, nursing, heart cathetherization and contrast, in two databases - Web of Science and Scielo, and in publications by Brazilian Cardiology Society. The risk fators and an instrument to assess this risk were identified, in the patients subject to diagnosis heart cathetherization. The instrument was constituted in two parts, the first having social-demographic variants and the second one with risk criteria for nephropathy, according to the Score of nephropathy risk stratification by contrast. The instrument will be subject to the content validation and will enable to identify, on the customer base subject to diagnosis heart cathetherization, in an ambulatory, the risk factors present, which will be subsequently used as allowances to create institutional protocols in order to prevent nephropathy induced by contrast. |
