| description | PRODECAD (Child and Teenager Development and Integration Program) is a non-formal education program, which is part of the Child and Complementary Education Division. This program serves university employees and students&"; kids, enrolled on the state education network&";s second shift. In this space, the pedagogic work includes different Cultural Workshops; in this context, this work aims to highlight the project "Chatting with Monteiro Lobato and Sítio do Picapau Amarelo&";s characters", developed at the Manual Work Woskhop. This work has been developed in 2016 with approximately 120 children, aged from 6 to 14 years old. In a nutshell, this workshop aims to focus on the relevance of Manual Work as an important pedagogic resource, able to involve various knowledge areas, since, in addition to provide interaction and socialization between children from various group ages, it enables the social, affective, cognitive and motor development. In this workshop, the importance of reusing different materials is highlighted, in order to stimulate the child&";s social-environmental awareness. This project began with a brief recalling on the author and the farm characters. From that moment, a cultural panel was created, containing some information and the proposal of making some characters using the "fuxico" technique. Every child is invited to make their favorite puppet, receiving a scheme in which they painted their sketch and used as guidance to make their chosen puppet. |

O PRODECAD ( Programa de Integração e Desenvolvimento da Criança e do Adolescente) é um programa de educação não formal, que faz parte da Divisão de Educação Infantil e Complementar da Unicamp. Este programa atende filhos de funcionários e alunos da universidade matriculados no contra turno da rede estadual de ensino. Neste espaço o trabalho pedagógico compreende diferentes Oficinas Culturais, neste contexto este trabalho visa destacar o projeto “Fuxicando com Monteiro Lobato e os personagens do sitio do Picapau Amarelo”, desenvolvido na Oficina de Trabalhos Manuais. Este vem sendo desenvolvido em 2016 com cerca de 120 crianças, com idades variando de 6 a 14 anos. Em suma, esta oficina busca colocar em foco a relevância dos Trabalhos Manuais como um importante recurso pedagógico para o professor, capaz de envolver diversas áreas do conhecimento, pois além de proporcionar a interação e a socialização entre crianças de diferentes faixas etárias, viabiliza promover o seu desenvolvimento motor, cognitivo, afetivo e social. Nesta oficina destaca-se a importância da reutilização de diferentes materiais a fim de estimular a conscientização socioambiental da criança. Este projeto teve início com um breve resgate sobre o autor e os personagens do sítio. A partir de então, montou-se um painel cultural contendo algumas informações e apresentou-se a proposta de confeccionar os personagens utilizando a técnica do fuxico. Cada criança é convidada a fazer um boneco de sua preferência, para isso recebem um esquema no qual pintavam o seu esboço e utilizam como orientação para confeccionar o personagem escolhido.
