Description
Summary:From the guava tasting at Ceci (Child Interaction Center) park, children got interested by the seeds that were exploited in different moments with various fruits, whetting and knowing flavors, textures, colors, planting techniques, scents, shapes and weights. This project is being performed in 2016, with a class of eleven children aged 2 and 3, at CECI interaction II. From the guava tasting at the institution&";s park, the interest on the subject was perceived. Do the other fruits have seeds? Various fruits were requested to the families, such as limes, avocado and orange. During meals, pear, melon, orange, watermelon, khaki, passion fruit, papaya and ponkan tangerine. The seeds were separated by the children, with the help of adults, exploted in different ways: planting, cuisine, art, panel and collections. In this process, we learned that sharing moments with each other exceeds our own limits and leads us to better social interaction conditions. We highligh the importance of trying different fruits, as well as knowing them in their cropping processes, from inherent languages to childhood, art, object (fruit) manipulation and their characteristics. Therefore, increasing the children&";s knowledge repertoires.
