| Summary: | The present paper intends to characterize the Bulletins of the Brazilian-American Commission of Industrial Education (CBAI) as materials for the teaching of Mathematics in the Industrial Schools of Brazil. The objective is to discuss how these Bulletins can be seen as instruments that explain teaching proposals mirrored in the pedagogical positions of a time. The corpus of the research were the Bulletins assigned to the authors dated 1948, 1951 and 1952. As the printed ones had the intention to bring pedagogical guidelines to the teachers of the industrial education, it turns out that Mathematics occupied a prominent place and that some orientations for the his teaching was left recorded in the printed Bulletins, causing the teacher to make an association of his class with the workshop. |
