Summary:The expression Computational Thinking has become popular and has been thought as a new approach to the use of technology in schools. It comes with the promise to improve students' ability to solve problems using computational skills, especially programming. But this is not a new idea. In the 1980 decade a large enterprise used Logo programming language in Brazilian schools in many different states of the country. This article seeks to recover some of the main results of those Logo projects to promote reflections about the current moment in which Computational Thinking knocks at the door of educational institutions.
