Summary:Taking as a context the inclusion of new digital technologies in the school curriculum, this paper aims to present/show the public policies of curriculum and technologies in Australia, identifying the presence of elements related to spaces and maker times created through ICT, as well as checking if the adoption of the maker culture in educational processes is being reframed, considering the pedagogical intentionality, the relationship with the curriculum, the understanding of the knowledge of different areas of knowledge. It consists on a critical reflection about the models, spaces, concepts and strategies used in pedagogical practice with a focus on this maker culture. The results showed that the Australian curriculum presents a very detailed organization, with a specific part of technologies for Basic Education.
