Description
Summary:Studies on musical improvisation have had a notable recent flowering, especially in the Italian context. It could not be otherwise, I believe it can be said, in the land of improvising poets in the octave rhyme and the eighteenth-century part, in spite of the heralded overseas primogeniture, jazz or not. But the aspect that is most relevant here is that this new wave of research could not fail to reverberate in the elective purpose of the theoretical investigation, with the application, or rather, the pedagogical-didactic transposition. In this article I will analyze some already established didactic directions, verifying their connections with theoretical models of creativity in real time that are now challenged by these recent researches. Further operational proposals will follow in the light of the belief that a change in the theoretical paradigm necessarily implies a repositioning of educational and didactic strategies.
