Obon celebration in an Okinawan family in São Paulo
During my childhood and adolescence, my paternal grandmother guided the rituals of Ancestor Worship in my family. With her death, I became more deeply interested in this particular nebulous universe, when the organization of the rituals became the responsibility of the other women in the family.
