Devotion to São Benedito de Bragança: art, performance, gender and faith
This essay is the result of an ethnographic field research conducted in the years 2015 and 2016 during the feast of São Benedito and aimed at understanding the strong historical presence of women in the Marujada, reflecting on the historical protagonism of the marujas of São Benedito.
