Summary:The work aims to historicize a collection of cookbooks (3 copies) written between the 1950s and 1980s, covering three generations of women, teachers in Santa Catarina who are preserved in a personal archive. The analysis will contemplate the material as a memorial record of a practice that is the result of schooled knowledge and that, from generation to generation, has become a political-educational experience, The collection of cookbooks is considered as the bearer of a system of worldview on cooking in dialogue with aspects of political culture and its presence as relic objects in personal archives, understood in the key of Historical-Educational Heritage.
